What is the exact cost for setting up a website for our Bed & Breakfast ?
£75 is the FULL cost for setting up a website to showcase your establishment.

Does that include absolutely everything?
Indeed that covers EVERYTHING. There are NO HIDDEN COSTS whatsoever. The £75 price includes full website set up and installation, Free .co.uk domain name and 12 months web hosting. After 12 months, the website costs are renewable at the low rate of just £50 for a further 12 months.

We are so confident in our price, quality and service - We fully recommend that you seek quotes from other web designers and compare the costs involved - We know you won't find a deal anywhere near as good as this. Don't forget to ask our competitors about all the costs - How much do they charge for a domain name? How much do they charge for web hosting? What renewal costs do they charge?

You say the website costs are renewable, what does that mean?
The £75 website costs (domain name, web hosting, installation) covers you for a whole 12 months. After this time, you would need to renew the domain name and web hosting to keep the website going. The renewal cost would be just £50 and this would cover everything for a further 12 months.

Do you take a commission on any bookings made through the website?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - You retain 100% of any booking you receive from a customer from your website. We are aware that you can list your establishment on other sites who then take a commission from any bookings or charge you a fee per visit they generate for you - With your own website that we'd install for you, YOU will be in total control and YOU keep 100% of any bookings.

Will a website really help me?
DEFINITELY! We've never run a bed&breakfast nor hotel, but we presume you need to advertise that you exist in order to attract visitors - We don't believe any establishment can rely solely on passing trade. Therefore, consider your current advertising - what do you currently do? Classified Ads........?, Boxed Ads........?, Flyers........? All serve their purpose, but all cost and all have their restrictions - Classifieds only allow 25/30 words and needs renewing each month (or whatever period of publication is), Boxed Ads allow a little more info than classifieds, but again need renewing regularly and are mixed in with all your competitors. Flyers are fine, offer you more room to get your message across - but do they hit the right people? (98% of flyers end up thrown straight in the bin!) All of these method rely on your potential customers to contact you to ask for further information/brochure before they book - We dare say, the customer will be asking for further details of many of your competitors too. By the time they receive all the details their interest may have cooled or your competitor may have grabbed the booking.

A website has SO MANY POSITIVES! It advertises your establishment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. You can fully showcase your establishment - Have photos of your rooms, restautant, gardens....in fact any part of your accommodation. You can display your room rates, menus, special offers, availability and more. You can tell (and show) your potential customer EVERYTHING they need to know - Wet their appetite and get their booking there and then!

Any competitor with a website will be actively taking bookings, whilst you're placing classifieds!

Do I have to have one of the templates you have displayed?
No, we can design and install a website to suit your needs - However, to take advantage of the £75 Website Offer, you do need to choose one of the templates we have.

How do we get the text and photos we want onto our website?
Throughout the set up stage, we will ask you for everything we need to complete your website - this will include the page titles you want, the text on pages you want and the photos you want to show off your property. The ideal medium for this is email, as we can take this from the email, straight to your website. For photos, the best medium will be for you to take digital photos and email them to us. Alternatively, digital photos can be put on to a CD and sent via the post to us (you could even send the media card itself, we can then take the photos from it and return the card from you). We acknowledge that not everyone has access to a digital camera, so you could use a regular camera and ask the shop developing to put the photos onto CD for you. Otherwise, you can send the printed photos and we'll simply scan and use them. Any method is fine and easily achieved to make your website really showcase your establishment. Once we've received the text and photos you can leave the website to us, we'll fit it to the template, but we will be in contact with you, so you can see how it's progressing and ask you if you want anything moved.

Once you've completed and handover the website, are you available for support?
Of course. We provide a beginners guide, written in plain English, for your website (e.g. how to access emails, make amendments, etc). We also provide a free online support database, again written in plain English, that answers most queries website owners have. However, if you can find what you are looking for, you only need contact us and we'll assist.

Can I make amendments to my websites?
The website will be 100% yours, you will be completely free to make as many or as few amendments as you like, e.g. update room rates or list current special offers. Our Beginners Guide will detail exactly how to make such changes.

FREE amendments when you renew annual fee?
Other than doing amendments yourself, when you renew your annual website cost, we will make any updates to text that you require, e.g room rates need updating, FREE OF CHARGE

How do we get our website seen?
Firstly, we will provide you with search engine submission - At the click of a button within your Control Panel, you can submit your website to be listed on the top search engine sites, such as Google, Yahoo, Lycos, Alta Vista, etc.

Another easy trick is to list your web address (e.g. www.mybedandbreakfast.co.uk) on all stationary, compliments slips, envelopes, letterheads, classified, flyers - in fact anywhere!

Contact your local tourist board, they will undoubtedly include a link to your website from theirs - This is far superior to simply having your contact details - We come back to losing out on bookings, when visitors look at the local tourist boards website, they are going to be drawn to b&b's / hotel's whose websites they can view there and then, rather than the establishments that they then need to contact for more info.

Once your web address is known, the website will do the rest for you - the bookings will roll in and your occupancy rate soar!

How can you provide this service so low, when others charge £150+ minumum?
Well, we firmly believe in offering value for money. Budget price doesn't have to mean budget product or service. Other Web Design businesses will try to persuade you that you need to spend a small fortune to get a quality product - We say this needn't be the case and you should ask them to justify their inflated prices.

In order to offer this brilliant offer at this competitive price, we have developed a number of professional looking templates, which can be replicated but altered to give it your own unique, personal feel. We also own our own server, which means we can host the websites cheaply too - Whereas, buying with another company means £100+ just for a years hosting.
